Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

RotateProduct.com is run by Dinge Technologies Kft., Hungary, 2100, Gödöllő, Úrréti utca 20 ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described here. For anything about your data, email info@rotateproduct.com.

2. What we collect

• Account data: your email address, your name if you give it, and your Google profile basics if you sign in with Google.
• Your uploads and videos: the product photos you upload, the videos we generate from them, and the settings you chose.
• Billing data: your plan, payments and invoices. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
• Usage data: pages you visit, buttons you click, device and browser type, and errors, as described in our Cookie Policy.
• Referral data: if you arrived through a referral link, which partner sent you.
• Messages: emails you send us and your answers in onboarding.

3. How we use it, and why we're allowed to

• To run the service (create your account, render your videos, host them, process payments, send account and billing emails). Legal basis: our contract with you.
• To check uploads and videos: an AI model checks each upload for problems (for example adult content or a photo that isn't a product) and each finished video for quality. A clear quality fail gets you a free retry. We also look at videos by hand now and then to find and fix problems. Legal basis: our contract with you and our legitimate interest in a working, safe service.
• To understand and improve the product through analytics. Analytics cookies are only stored with your consent. Legal basis: consent and our legitimate interest.
• To pay referral partners for customers they send us. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.
• To email you about product updates, with an unsubscribe link in every email. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in contacting customers, or your consent where the law requires it.
• To keep accounting and tax records. Legal basis: legal obligation.

We don't sell your data, and we don't train AI models on your images or videos.

4. Who processes it for us

We use these providers to run RotateProduct. Each one gets only what it needs for its job.

• Supabase (database, login, file storage; servers in Frankfurt, Germany)
• Vercel (website hosting; also routes the AI checks in the next line)
• OpenAI (the upload check, the product description used for rendering, and the video quality check)
• Replicate and Runway (the AI models that render your videos)
• Mux (video hosting and playback)
• Google Cloud (converting videos to animated WebP) and Google sign-in if you use it
• Stripe (payments and invoices)
• PostHog (product analytics, EU cloud)
• Resend (sending email)

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves the EU, the transfer relies on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

• Your account, uploads and videos: for as long as you have an account, so your video library stays available. Email us to delete individual videos or your whole account.
• Billing records: for the period Hungarian accounting law requires (currently 8 years), even after you delete your account.
• Analytics data: for as long as it's useful for improving the product, linked to your account only if you signed up.

6. Security and video links

Your data is stored with the providers above, sent over encrypted connections, and only our team can access it in our systems. Your uploads and videos are served from long, unlisted links so you can embed them on your store. Anyone who has a link can open that file, so share links with care.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or give it to you in a portable format. You can object to uses based on our legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@rotateproduct.com and we'll reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Hungarian data protection authority, the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (naih.hu), or the authority in your own country.

8. Children

RotateProduct is a tool for businesses and isn't meant for anyone under 16.

9. Changes

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change matters for how we use your data, we'll tell you by email.
